Lychee Glazed Baked Donuts

Yeah you’ve heard that correctly it is sweet lychee glazed donut that is easy enough for anyone to create. All you need is some simple donut ingredients added with our tasty freeze dried fruits; in this case or lychees.

These donuts are baked rather than fried meaning it is also a healthy way for you to get a sweet taste you’ve been craving for. To add to all of this it takes only 20 minutes to get these tasty snacks into your mouth.

These donuts are dipped inside succulent, sweet lychee glaze but even if you did not want to add the glaze to cut the calories the dried lychee is still added to our dough recipe so you will be tasting lychee all time round

You can eat these donuts as a snack, for breakfast or at the almighty family gathering; don’t worry we wont tell anyone what your secret Jungle Fruits Recipe is.

Ingredients



Dough

  • 130 g Self raising flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 55 g Coconut Cream
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Apple compote
  • 100 ml Oat milk
  • 1 pack Jungle Fruits freeze dried lychee bites crushed

Icing

  • 230 g Royal icing sugar
  • 1 pack Jungle Fruits freeze dried lychee bites crushed
  • 2 tbsp Coconut cream
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp Oat or coconut milk


INSTRUCTIONS



  1. Preheat your oven at 180C
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients of the dough and add the wet ingredients
  3. Grease a donut mould and fill with your batter
  4. Bake for 15-20 min until golden and toothpick ones out clean
  5. Let cool
  6. Mix all the icing ingredients and dip your donuts
  7. Add extra toppings as rose petals and let them rest on the side, or put them in the fridge for a few minutes to help the icing to harden faster
